MADHURI DIXIT NAME USED IN MOVIES

In a movie Sirf Tum (1999) Mohnish Bell is telling Sanjay Kapoor about women he dreams about. Madhuri si mentioned among them.

In Ready (2011) Hum Aapke Hain Koun is mentioned several times, one time on of the characters hums one of the main melodies.

In Duplicate (1998) Juhi calls Mohnish Bell "bhaiya (brohter)". He is shocked as he thought of her as a romantic interest. He drives away in his car, crying (hysterical scene) while Hum Aapke Hain Koun main song is playin gin the background.

In Yes Boss (1997) Shahrukh Khan invites his boss and his wife for a dinner. While waiting for Juhi to appear he shows his guests a painting on the wall saing it is "Madhuri Dixit by MF Husain".

In Madhuri´s own film Beta (1992) a wedding procession where Anil sees Madhuri for the first time, actually plays the melody of "Dekha Hai Pehli Bar" from her film Saajan (1991).

In Dil (1990), while Aamir is getting ready for school after his birthday party, he is humming Ek Do Teen.

In Dil Tera Aashiq (1993) Anupam Kher has visions of romancing "old" Madhuri while Dhak Dhak is playing

In Yaraana (1995), before Madhuri gets to dance to Mera Piya Ghar Aaya, Shakti Kapoor tries to please the audience with Ek Do Teen.

In Aaja Nachle (2007) while Madhuri is watching the auditions for Laila-Majnu play one of the girls shamelessly tries to impress her with Dhak Dhak.

In Break Ke Baad (2010) Aaliyah Khan (Deepika Padukone's character) as a little girl dances to Ek Do Teen.

One big mention goes to a film called Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon!

In Dil Bole Hadippa! the theater company Rani works for has a huge Madhuri picture from HAHK among the ones decorating their lorry. Also Rani and Shahid re-act the famous Didi Tera Deewana and the following swimming pool scene from HAHK on stage.

In Salaam-E-Ishq Priyanka talks about her desire to become a great heroine like Nargis, Madhubala..... and Madhuri!

In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai children play dumb charades in the camp. One of the groups decides to do Hum Aapke Hain Koun scene. Shahrukh then cries out: "Madhuri! Hum Aapke Hain Koun!"

In Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham Hrithik sings a whole portion of Wah Wah Ramji from HAHK to Shahrukh and Kajol.

In Kal Ho Naa Ho the old ladies are shown singing very passionately Maar Daala.

In Munnabhai M.B.B.S. Sanjay makes the students in their underwear dance to Dola Re Dola on the table.

In Shola Aur Shabnaam, when Anupam Kher talks for the first time with the headmistress of the girl´s college, he wants her to listen to a casete as a proof (of a trick his students played upon him). Instead "Mujhe Neend Na Aaye" from Dil starts playing Cheesy In the same film near the end Anupam Kher beats up one of the villains. Accidentally the TV starts playing and you can see a scene from Ram Lakhan, and Anupam starts singing "My name is Major, My name is Major..... Mera naam hai Major." (he seriously cracked me up there)

In Sanam, Sanjay Dutt in the role of Narendra performs a song at a college function in which Narendra dreams of having romances with nearly every actress and model of his time: Rekha, Karisma, Raveena, Sridevi, Juhi, Urmila, Tabu, Kajol, Shilpa, Sonali, Aishwarya, Sushmita and of course Madhuri whom Narendra is sure to marry some day...

In Andaaz Apna Apna Madhuri is mentioned several times.

When we see Salman talking to "Johnny" (who promised to make him a star) for the first time, her picture is among the ones on the wall. Then the fake "Subhash Ghai" calls adn says he showed Salman´s picture to Madhuri and she now doesnt´ want to work with anyone else. Allegedly even kept a snap with herself! Cheesy

Later when Aamir and Salman become friends (for a LITTLE while) they come across a shot selling magazines. Salman says "Look, your future sister-in-law!" meaning of course the cover featuring Raveena, but Aamir looks at  Cineblitz with Madhuri on the cover.

Even more later when Salman eats the food Aamir laced with pills, he starts singing Dekha Hai Pehli Bar, and Aamir continues Smiley

In Pyar Ka Rog (1994) Anupam & Co. not only warble away songs from Saajan and Thanedaar – Bindu and Anupam even imitate Madhuri Dixit's and Sanjay Dutt's legendary dance scene "Tamma Tamma Loge" from Thanedaar.

In Sarphira (1992), Sanjay in one scene listens to his and Madhuri's song "Mera Dil Phi Kitna Pagal Hai" from Saajan in the radio.

In Deewana Mastana, when Anil and Govinda are arguing which one of them should make the sacrifice, they start using different film refferences. Govinda says: "I´m no Salman Khan from Saajan to put a hand of such a girl like Madhuri Dixit into the hand of Sanjay Dutt!"
